British boys' championship defending champion is through to this afternoon's semi-finals at Nairn
Falko Hanisch (Germany), the defending champion, won his way through to the semi-finals of the British U18 boys amateur championship at Nairn Golf Club this morning.
He beat Benjamin Jones (Northants) by one hole in the first quarter-final and now plays another English player, Robin Williams (Bishopsgate), a 4 and 2 winner over Tom Plumb (Sherborne) in the second quarter-final.
The second semi-final will feature Pedro Lencart (Portugal) against Miguel Angel Herrero-Baeza (Spain).
Lencart bt George Sanders (Meon Valley) 2 and 1 while Herrero-Baeza bt Pierre Pineau (France) by two holes
