Halcrow wins Super Seniors title

 

by two despite second-round 76

 

Colin Halcrow (Windyhill) shot a 76 in the final round but, on a bad weather day at Largs, that was good enough to give him victory in the Scottish Senior Golf Society's Super Seniors Championship by two strokes with a total of 147.

Bob Stewart (Tulliallan) had the best second-round score of five-over-par 73 and that lifted him up to a share of second place on 149 with John Broadfoot (Turnberry) (75-74).

The Super Seniors is for players aged 65 and over.
