Scots men finish fourth behind Wales in Nations Cup at Sotogrande

Scotland finished fourth behind first time winners Wales in the European Nations Cup men's team championship at Sotogrande, Spain today (Saturday).
Wales totalled 877 for the four-round event, 11 ahead of runners-up Ireland with Spain (896) third ahead of Scotland (898). England (925) finished 12th in the field of 156 countries.
It was a double whammy day for Wales with Jack Davidson winning the individual title with a total of 283, four ahead of Robin Dawson (Ireland).
Scotland's Robert MacIntyre (79-71-73-76) and Connor Syme (76-74-73-76) tied for seventh place.
The other team members were Craig Howie (305) and Liam Johnston (307).
