Scots joint fourth with round to go in European Nations' men's team tournament

Scotland, on the back of good efforts by Robert MacIntyre (pictured below) and Connor Syme, have moved up to joint fourth place behind Wales (655), Ireland (657) and Spain (671) with one round to go in the European Nations Cup men's team championship at Sotogrande.

The Scots are on 674 alongside Germany after improving their aggregate daily team performance from 233 on the first two days to 218 in the third round.
In contrast, England are second from bottom in the 16-team table.
Syme (76-74-73) and MacIntyre (76-74-73) are sharing eighth place on 223 - 12 shots behind the leader by three, Welshman Jack Davidson who has reeled off three rounds of two-under 70.
