ROBERTSON'S WEAK FINISH OPENS


DOOR TO CHASING CHAMPIONS' PACK

Three strokes dropped by leader Graeme Robertson (Glenbervie) over the last five holes of the second round have opened the door to the chasing pack in the Scottish Champion of Champions' tournament's final 36 holes on Sunday.

Robertson followed up an opening six-under 65 with a one-over 72 for 137. He bogeyed the short 14th, 16th and 18th on his second circuit but still leads by a shot from Dan Lawrence (Ballumbie Castle) (69-69) and Euan McIntosh (Turnhouse).

There are five players sharing fourth place on 140, only three off the pace. They include former Scottish amateur champion Barry Hume (Haggs Castle) who slumped from a first-round 66 to an afternoon 74, mainly due to double bogey 6s at the eighth and 18th.
