Jack McDonald's T4 finish in Casablanca Open

Jack McDonald from Troon finished a creditable joint fourth, only two behind the play-off participants, in the MENA Tour's Casablanca Open today at Palmeraie Country Club, Morocco.
McDonald had rounds of 70, 67 and 70 for six-under-par 207, birdieing the sixth and long 13th with one bogey in his closing round. The Ayrshire man earned $2,188 prizemoney.
Walker Cup player Grant Forrest just made the top 10 in a share of ninth place with rounds of 75, 67 and 67 for 209. His final round included six birdies, including the 13th, 14th and 16th in an inward half of three-under 33.
Dunbar's Daniel Kay finished joint 22nd on 212 (69-73-70) and Daniel Hendry, making his pro debut, shared 33rd place on 214 (73-69-72).
Luke Joy (England), with rounds of 66, 70 and 69, and Spain's Leo Lilja (69-68-68) jointly headed the field on eight-under 205. Lilja won the sudden-death play-off.
Lilja earned $7,200, Joy $4,800.
