Oman golf post for former Aberdeen Links champion Steven Troup


Alan Brown of the "Evening Express" reported in his Tuesday column that Steven Troup, winner of the Aberdeen Links championship in 2003 as a Caledonian GC member (he was also a member at Portlethen GC) , has been appointed national team manager by the Oman Golf Federation.
Steven, now 34, was an assistant pro at Kings Links Golf Centre until he left in 2007 to take up a teaching post at Dohan Golf Club in Qatar.
In 2015, he moved to Oman at Al Mouj Golf Club.
