DANNY KAY LEADS SCOTS IN CASABLANCA OPEN

Daniel Kay from Dunbar made a good start to the MENA Tour's Casablanca Open today with a two-under-par 69 which left him three strokes behind the English leader, Luke Joy, in a share of fifth place in a huge field of 138 players at the Morocco venue.
Jack McDonald from Troon was the next best Scot with a 70 for joint 14th position.
Dubai-based Scot Daniel Hendry, making his debut as a pro, shot a 73 for joint 44th position.
Walker Cup player Grant Forrest and Jamie Savage both scored 75 and are joint 78th I'n the 54-hole tournament. There will be a cut after the second round.
