Sandy Scott has 77 at Bandon Dunes




Sandy Scott from Nairn, a first-year student at Texas Tech, shot a disappointing five-over-par 77 in Sunday's first round of the Bandon Dunes Collegiate Championship at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, Oregon.
His score over a par-72 course of 6,823yd was the poorest of the Texas Tech team of five players.
Sandy goes into the second round in joint 71st place.
Texas Tech (283) are joint second alongside Colorado, eight shots behind first-round team leaders Oregon (275).
Angus Montgomery from Middlesborough, a final-year student at tournament hosts, Gonzaga University, is alongside Scott on the 77 mark.
