Chris Robb (65) returns to form in Tony

Jacklin Open to be jt 2nd, one off lead

Former Scottish amateur champion Chris Robb (Meldrum House) returned to his best form with a seven-under-par 65 to figure in a four-way tie for second place in the Pro Golf Tour's Tony Jacklin Open at the Tony Jacklin Casablanca Golf Club, Morocco.
Robb had bogey-free halves of 33 and 32, birdieing the first, fourth, fifth, seventh, 10th, 11th and 13th.
The Banchory man is one behind leader Pedro Figueiredo (Portugal).
Peterhead's Ross Cameron (Saltire Energy) is lying joint 14th with a 68 which include a five-birdie outward half of 32. His only bogey came at the long 13th.
Young Sam Kiloh (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) from Portlethen is joint 22nd on 69 (35-34) which was made up of four birdies, a bogey at the 14th and 13 pars.
Kiloh's team-mate, Kevin Duncan had four birdies but ran up a triple bogey 7 at the 14th in halves of 36 to be T56s.
Another Paul Lawrie GC player, Philip McLean from Peterhead, had a triple bogey 6 at the short sixth in a 73 which left him in joint 65th place in a field of 108 players.
