North beat North-east and Perth and Kinross in youths' match at Ballater 
                           The winning North District team with official Alan Cowie.

The North District of Scottish Golf, with a total of 562, beat the North-east (568) and Perth and Kinross (585) in Sunday's eight-a-side triangular inter-district youths' golf match at Ballater Golf Club.

The individual prizes were won by North-east's Craig Stephen (Aboyne), winner of the Ballater Open on Saturday, with a 72, Jonathan Keith (Inverness) 73, Kieran MacKay (Inverness) 76  and Michael Brodie (Alyth) 77.
