Scots lament on Day 2 at Sunningdale

It was a bad day for the Scots in the second round of the Sunningdale Foursomes at the Ascot evenue today.
Sam Torrance, who is a Sunningdale member, and son Daniel were blitzed 6 and 5 over the New Course by Haydn McCullen and Michael Hunt.
On the Old Course, the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre pairing of David Law and Ross Kelley were beaten 3 and 2 by John Kemp and Mark Wharton.
Ellon's Michele Thomson (Meldrum House) and Rebecca McGinley lost by 4 and 2 to Gary King and Jack Colegate.
Tartan Tour campaigner Gareth Wright (West Linton) and Jason Levermore) went down by 2 and 1 to Zane Scotland Steven Tiley.
And the defending champions Charlotte Austwick and Jack Clarke were turfed out 3 and 2 by Henry Smart and Graham Power.
