Portlethen's Sam Kiloh, playing out of the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre, finished joint 21st in the Tony Jacklin Open at Casablanca, Morocco.
Sam, 21, had rounds of 72, 67 and 69 for an eight-under-par total of 208, one of his lowest aggregates since he turned pro, but eight strokes behind the winner, Irishman Rory McNamara who shot a final round of nine-under 63 to surge past the overnight leaders.
In his final round, Kiloh birdied the fourth, eighth, ninth and 18th.
His only bogey came at the 16th. It was his first bogey since the seventh hole in the first round at which point he was four over par.
