Martin McNae wins South Order of Merit

Martin McNae (Lochmaben) finally clinched the James Erskine PGA Professional-sponsored South of Scotland Order of Merit after his second place finish in the Shamash Trophy saw him claim his first South Order of Merit title. 

This now guarantees Martin a pick for next year's Scottish Area Team Championship.

 David Brodie (Wigtown and Bladnoch) put up a good defence of his title but couldn't ever close the gap on long time leader Martin. Chris Corbett (Dumfries and Galloway) finished 3rd and is one who could certainly claim the Order of Merit title in the future.
