Iain Thomson wins play-off against Martin
McNae for Shamash Trophy
Iain
Thomson (Powfoot) has won the Shamash Trophy for the second time at
Brighouse Bay. He mastered the strong winds to post two
rounds of 75 but still had to come through a three-hole play-off with Martin
McNae (Lochmaben) as he matched Iain's pair of 75s.
Iain clinched the
title with a birdie 2 at the final play-off hole.
Chris Corbett
(Dumfries and Galloway) finished third, a shot back on 151.
