Scotland v England in semi-final of European men's team championship
Scotland are through to a semi-final meeting with England in the European men's amateur team championship at Helmstad Golf Club, Sweden.
The Scots won their quarter-final 4.5-2.5 over No 3 seeds Spain while England came from behind to KO Ireland by a similar margin.
Scotland led 2-0 at lunch after foursomes victories by Ewen Ferguson and Grant Forrest (4 and 3) and Graeme Robertson and Jack McDonald (one hole).
Singles wins by Forrest (one hole), Ferguson (at 20th) and a halved match for Conor Syme clinched the Scots place in the last four.
Greig Marchbank lost by one hole and McDonald went down by 4 and 3 in his singles.
The other semi-final is between Sweden who beat Germany 4=3 and Denmark, 4-3 conquerors of France.
Scotland's boys went down 4-3 to Netherlands in the quarter-finals of the European boys team championship at Pickala Golf Club, Finland.
After the foursomes were drawn 1-1 (Murray Naysmith and Chris Curran lost by 2 and 1 while Calum Fyfe and Rory Franssen won by one hole), Scotland lost the singles 3-2, Nairn's Sandy Scott losting the last tie at the 19th.
Earlier Fyfe won by 6 and 4 and Naysmith by one hole.
Will Porter, the Scottish boys champion from Carnoustie, lost by 2 and 1, and Curran lost by 4 and 2.
