Scots men's team qualify sixth, play Spain

Scotland slashed 10 shots off their first-round total to qualify in sixth place for the match-play of the European men's amateur team championship at Halmstad Golf Club, Sweden.
Only top qualifiers Germany had a lower second-round team total than the Scots for whom Jack McDonald, Grant Forrest, Ewen Ferguson and Connor Syme also shot one-under-par 71s.
Graeme Robertson had a 73 and Greig Marchbank the non-counting 76.
