Jordan Calder wins rain-cut Braemar Open

Yesterday's Braemar Open, scheduled for 36 holes, was played over 18 only, due to the weather. Over 12mm of rain fell during the morning and a decision was made to reduce the competition to one round.
Winner was Jordan Calder of Kemnay with a score of 68. Four players returned 69s and, after a countback, the runner-up was Lewis Shand of Portlethen with the better last three holes.

The other rounds of 69 came from  Clark Brechin (Portlethen) and Aberdeen Links champion Barrie Edmond (Bon Accord) and Aboyne's Craig Stephen.
