Flawless Van Zyl takes control in France

EUROPEAN TOUR COMUNICATIONS
South African Jaco Van Zyl will take a two shot lead into the final round of the Alstom Open de France after a wonderful, flawless seven under par 64 on day three.

The 36 year old, pictured left by courtesy of Getty Images(c), who has yet to win on The European Tour, reached ten under par for the tournament at Le Golf National in Paris, birdieing the last from a few inches for good measure.
Behind him is another player chasing his first win, Germany’s Max Kieffer, whose 65 propelled him into contention four weeks after he finished third at the Nordea Masters, while Austria’s Bernd Wiesberger is another shot back at seven under thanks to a five under par 66.
Ryder Cup team-mates Victor Dubuisson, who has attracted strong support from the home crowds all week, and Martin Kaymer both carded 69 to share fourth place alongside James Morrison, setting up a mouth-watering final round.
Quotes
Jaco Van Zyl
“Today was really a phenomenal round. I felt really comfortable from tee to green and made a couple of nice putts. I've been in this position a couple of times and hopefully tomorrow we can pull through. I had surgery on both knees last year, which wasn't great. "You just don't quite know what to expect coming out here but luckily I got off to a nice start at the beginning of the year and got the confidence building a little bit.  I'm really looking forward to tomorrow.”
Max Kieffer
It feels amazing. I didn’t really expect it to be honest, to shoot that low.  But I guess the course played a little bit easier today. I feel like I'm good enough to win. I think I learned enough in the last two tournaments when I was in the final round to win. I just have to hit good golf shots tomorrow and then we will see. This course is a lot of fun. I watched it on the TV for many years and now to be in the final group tomorrow is going to be a good challenge.”
Victor Dubuisson
“I played very well again. I made two mistakes on distance on the first eight holes, which cost me two bogeys, but my game is really good.  I made three birdies in a row from nine to 11 and then I did my best, but it's really difficult to make some birdies at the end. I think tomorrow I will need a very good start if I want to have a chance, because once you get on the back nine it’s very difficult to make birdies.”
Martin Kaymer
“I probably played better than the first two days but the putter was fairly cold today.  I didn't make any putts the first ten, 12 holes but I gave myself many, many chances, so I have to build on that. I've shot low rounds on this golf course before. If I play the same way and the putter is the same as the first two days, then I have a chance.”

Richie Ramsay had a disappointing 78 to drop him down to the lower reaches of the scoreboard. he is on eight-over 221, 18 shots behind the leader.
