Jeff Wright has won the Forres Golf Club championship for the third year in a row. He broke Bryan Fotheringham's 72-hole record for the tournament of 269 with a 17 under par aggregate of 263.
Wright's rounds were 64, 64, 68 and 67. He won by 25 shots from former champion Robert McKerron who scored 288. Mark Jones, after a last round of 66, came third on 290
