IN CHALLENGE TOUR'S FRENCH EVENT

Aberdeen's David Law, who will be a leading contender for next week's Paul Lawrie Golf Centre-sponsored Northern Open at Murcar Links, is 
joint seventh with a round to go in this week's European Challenge Tour event, the Najeti Hotels Open in France.
Law, with rounds of 68, 71 and 72 for two-under-par 211, is four shots behind the two-shot leader, Spaniard Jordi Garcia Pinto.
The other Scots who survived the cut, Jack Doherty and Scott Henry, are bracketed together on 213, Dohcerty with rounds of 73-70-70 and Henry 68-74 71.
