SCOT HAS TITLE CHANCE IN SPAIN

BROTHERSTON SHARES LEAD WITH A 
 
ROUND TO GO IN EURO SENIORS CH/P
Ian Brotherston (Dumfries and County) is sharing the lead with Germany's Ulrich Schulte with one round to go in the 54-hole European senior men's amateur golf championship at RCG Puerta de Hierro near Madrid.
Brotherston has shot rounds of 73-72 for one-over-par 145 despite a double bogey 6 at the 10th and a bogey at the 13th in his second round which also included birdies at the second, 14th and 14th.
Schulte has scored 71-74.
Edzell's Keith Bruce is joint 20th on 153 (7677) while Anglo-Scot Malcolm Reid (Sonnie) beat the cut by two shots with scores of 75-83 for 158.
