JOHN HENRY, ONLY OTHER SCOT TO BEAT CUT, FINISHED JT 16TH

JAMES WHITE WINS 827 EUROS FOR 

TOP 10 FINISH IN ITALY'S ASIAGO OPEN

James White won 827 Euros for a 10th place finish in the Alps Tour's Asiago Open at Golf Club Asiago, Italy today.
The Fifer had rounds of 72, 69 and 68 for a total of four-under-par 209.
Winner of the 5,800 Euros first prize was Italian Nino Bertasio with scores of 69, 65 and 70 fir nine-under 204. He won by two strokes, making it back-to-back wins on the Alps Tour.
John Henry (Clydebank and District) was the only other Scot to make it through to the last day. He had scores of 72, 65 and 73 for 210 which earned him joint 16th place and 656 Euros.
Michael Stewart from Ayrshire and Edinburgh's John Gallagher did not survive the 36-hole cut at 143.
Stewart scored 73-71 for 144 while Gallagher shot 76-72 for 148.
