FOUR-WAY TIE FOR FIRST AT KEMNAY PRO-AM

It does not happen often on the Tartan Tour but there was a four-way tie for first place in today's (SAT) Kemnay Golf Club pro-am.

Stephen Gray (Hayston), Jason McCreadie (Buchanan Castle), Greig Hutcheon (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) and Newmachar's Malcolm Isaacs all returned two-under-par 69s and earned £683 apiece.

Gray birdied the 15th and 16th to set the clubhouse target. McCreadie equalled it by getting a 2 at the short 18th; Hutcheon birdied the 15th and 17th while Isaacs covered the last 11 holes in four under par with birdies at the eighth, 11th, 15th and 18th after dropping shots at the fourth, sixth and seventh.

Scott Henderson (Kings Links), who finished fifth with a 70 after notching an eagle 3 at the long 15th, led home the winning team for the second time this past week. He piloted the Baker Hughes trio of amateurs - Steve Moore (handicap 3), Nick Dalgarno (13) and Craig McDonald (4) to a 12-under-par net total of 59.
