GALLACHER, McCLURE LOSE OUT AT GLASGOW GAILES
RONNIE CLARK WINS EDWARD
TROPHY PLAY-OFF AT 21st
Ronnie Clark (Erskine) won the three-man play-off for the Edward Trophy at Glasgow Gailes Golf Club.
Clark, Kenny Gallacher (East Kilbride) and Kristopher McClure (Clydebank and Dist) tied on 144 on the original tournament date but there was a delay in arranging an 18-hole play-off date that suited all three players.
In the play-off, Clark and Gallacher were still tied with 72s but McClure, with a 78, was eliminated.
Clark prevailed at the 21st hole in sudden death.
