TWO SCOTS FINISH IN LEADING 20 IN ALPS TOUR EVENT

JAMES WHITE MAKES TOP TEN IN

FRANCE AND EARNS 925 EUROS

Rookie pro James White from Lundin, Fife has not taken long to get among the prize money on the Alps Tour.
On Saturday he finished joint eighth in the Rebetz International Open in France and earned 925 Euros for rounds of 71, 70 and 71, adding up to a total of 221.
Ross Kellett from Mothrwell earned 636 Euros for a 20th place finished on 214 (72-71-71) and Edinburgh's John Gallagher finished joint 46th on 221 (73-71-77) for a 320 Euros payslip.
Frenchmen filled the first three places with Mathieu Pavon scooping the first prize of 5,800 Euros with rounds of 70, 69 and 70 for seven-under 209.
He won by a shot from compatriots Thomas Elissalde (68-72-70) and Baptiste Chapellan (70-67-73) who earned 3,250 Euros apiece.
Englishmen Steven Brown and Andrew Cooley tied with James White on 221. Brown shot 70-72-70 and Cooley 70-72-70.
