STEWART SAGS, KELLETT NOT TOP SCOT ON ALPS TOUR

Motherwell's Ross Kellett took over the leading Scot in the Alps Tour's Red Sea Bay Open in Egypt today after Michael Stewart from Troon ran up two double bogeys ons his way to a 76.
Kellett was four under par on the 18th tee after birdies at the short fourth, fifth, 12th and long 13th but then marked up his only bogey of the day at the last.
He finished with a 69 for a share of fifth place on 140 - three shots behind Italian leader Andrea Rota (66-71 for seven-under 137).
Stewart's nine-shot slump compared with his first round dropped him to joint 13th place on 143.
Fraserburgh's Kris Nicol (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) was heading for a par 72 until he bogeyed the 15th, 16th and 17th for a 75 and a share of 22nd place on 145.
Ross Cameron from Ellon made the cut with nothing to spare after a 73 for 148.
John Henry (Clydeband and Dist) missed out by two shots with a 76 for 150.
