McKENNA AND SCOTT IN LAST 16 OF SOUTH AFRICAN MATCH-PLAY
Fraser McKenna (Balmore) and Ewan Scott (St Andrews) are through to the last 16 in the South African men's amateur match-play championship at Johannesburg Country Club.
McKenna beat Jade Buitendag 5 and 4 while Scott beat Hennie Du Plessis by one hole.
In the afternoon ties, McKenna will play Jason Viljoen who beat Jamie Savage (Cawder) by 2 and 1 this morning.
Glenbervie's Graham Robertson was on the losing end of a 26-hole marathon tie against Gerlou Roux.
England's Toby Tree will be playing in this afternoon's third round after scoring a 4 and 2 win over Teagan Galche.
