DAVID LAW NOSEDIVES OUT OF AMELKIS OPEN IN MOROCCO

David Law nosedived out of the German PGA's Pro Golf Tour event, the Amelkis Open at Marrakesh, Morocco - and joined Paul Lawrie Golf Centre team-mates Jordan Findlay and Philip McLean on the sidelines.
Law looked to be in a challenging position after an opening round of 70 but a triple bogey 6 at the short seventh derailed his second-round effort. Birdies at the 14th and 15th were too little too late as he finished in 75 for 145 - one shot too many beat the cut.
Bernd Ritthammer (Germany) led the qualifiers with 64-67 for 13-under-par 131.
Findlay (77-73) missed the cut on 150 and McLean (75-78) on 153 was even wider off the mark.
