ARNOTT MAKES POLLOK PRO-AM HIS FOURTH WIN OF SEASON

Robert Arnott (Bishopbriggs) shot a seven-under-par 64 to win today's PolloK Golf Club pro-am by one stroke from Greig Hutcheon (Banchory) with Scott Henderson (Kings Links) and Paul McKechnie (Braid Hills) joint third on 66. Arnott had a bag of eight birdies with only one bogey. Hutcheon had seven birdies and one bogey. It was Arnott's fourth one-day win of the fledgling season following joint victories at Portpatrick, Cardross and Ladybank in May. This was the former PGA Cup player's first outright win of 2012. Arnott has been consistency personnified with 13 top 10 finishes in his 17 competitive outings of the year. Henderson and McKechnie had bogey-free rounds.
