SCOTTISH JUNIOR GOLF TOUR OPEN AT ROWALLAN CASTLE

Hi Colin,
Results from the Scottish Junior Golf Tour Open at Rowallan Castle on Monday and Tuesday. The course was in great condition and the weather very good until the last two holes for the leaders on Tuesday.
With a field of over 80 containing some of England’s best juniors Connor Syme from Dumfries had the best two round total with a level par score of 142 closely followed by George Burns from Williamwood on 143. The scoring was very good considering the standard scratch is three above the par (71) on 74 for the white tees and one above par (71) for the yellows tees 72.

 The handicap prizes were won by Cameron Franssen in the U18 category with 141 and Ellis Roberts in the U14 with 134.
Willem Kerr (Craigielaw) was the overall winner of the skills challenges.
