Taylor slumps in German mini-tour event

Scot Jay Taylor fell away badly over the final two rounds of the Renault EPD Tour event, the Coburg Brose Open, at Coburg Golf Club, Schloss Tambach, Weitramsdorf.
Jay was well in the picture with an opening round of four-under-par 68 but he followed it up with deteriorating rounds of 75 and 79 for a six-over-par total of 222. For joint 40th place, Jay earned 170 Euros.
Winner was an Englishman, 23-year-old James Ruth from Tavish with a 16-under-par total of 200, made up of scores of 71, 65 and 64, for which he earned 4,125 Euros.
He was chased home by two Germans - Max Kramer (68-67-68: 203) and Christoph Gunther (64-73-67: 204).
