Scots McBride and Duncan trail
Neil McBride from Glasgow and Ellon's Kevin Duncan did not threaten joint leaders Juan Bialet (Georgia College) and Daniel Stanley (Newberry College) in the first round of the NCAA Division 2 men 's South-east Regional championship at The Point Lake & Golf Club.
Over a longish par-72 course of some 7,037yd, Clayton State University, Atlanta team-mates McBride and Duncan scored 75 and 77 respectively.
That put McBride in a share of 17th place and Duncan in a tie for 31st place.
Bialet and Stanley set the pace on three-under-par 69.
