ALYTH ASSISTANT RAE WINS MIDLAND
ALLIANCE CHAMPIONSHIP
The final event of the 2007-2008 Midland Golfers' Alliance season, the Rennies of Dunfermline Championship, was held at Crail Golfing Society, Fife in cold, wet and windy conditions.
Alyth assistant professional Michael Rae triumphed with scores of 72 and 71 for a total of 142 and a two-shot victory from Pitreavie pro Paul Brookes and Ladybank assistant Alan Lockhart.
Winner of the Handicap Championship was Lindsay Cargill (Arbroath). Playing off four, he had a net total of 142.
