SPENCE, MASON TIE ON 69 AT ALYTH IN
MIDLAND GOLFERS' ALLIANCE

Gleneagles Hotel assistant professional Scott Spence and Drumoig Driving Range pro Brian Mason shared the spoilts on the one-under-par 69 mark in this week's Midland Golfers' Alliance competition at Alyth Golf Club.
Best net score in a cold, sharp wind was a net 68 by two players, Tom Watson, who plays off nine at Blairgowrie, and Charlie Wallace, an ll-handicapper at Caird Park, Dundee.
