A FEW DOLLARS MORE FOR SCOTT JAMIESON

Glasgow's Scott Jamieson finished joint 37th in the latest event on the NGA Hooters Tour - the Kandy Waters Classic at Goshen Plantation Golf Club, Augusta in Georgia.
Jamieson had rounds of 68, 76, 71 and 72 for a one-under-par total of 287 to earn $1,289, boosting his earnings on the satellite tour to $20,844 from 10 events. He has missed the cut in only one.
Edinburgh exile David Kirpatrick, a long-time resident of Lakeland, Florida, finished joint 51st on 291 with scores of 70, 73, 78 and 70 for a $1,055 cheque.
Former Scottish youths champion Joel Hendry from Elgin missed the cut by a stroke with 74 and 72 for 146.
American Casey Wittenberg from Memphis won the $33,566 top prize with 69, 69, 70 and 67 for a 13-under-par total of 275 over the 7,143yd course.
