ENOCH MAKES PROMISING DEBUT BUT
JORDAN FINDLAY HAD A SIX-OVER 78

Welsh international Rhys Enoch made a promising debut for East Tennessee State University in the weather-delayed Carpet Capital Collegiate college tournament at The Farm Club, Rocky Face in Georgia.
New recruit Enoch had a first-round 73, one over par for the 7,012yd course.
Jordan Findlay, starting his third year at East Tennessee State, did not do so well - a 78. But that was three better than Irish team-mate Seamus Power.
Although Gareth Shaw had a 70 and Cian McNamnara a 72, East Tennessee State are certainly going to miss Walker Cup player Rhys Davies, who turned pro a few days ago. Rhys won 10 tournaments during his four years at the university.

FIRST ROUND SCORES INCLUDE
65 Chesson Hadley (Georgia Tech).
70 Joel Sjoholm (Georgia State), Gareth Shaw (East Tennessee State).
71 Rhys Enoch (East Tennessee State).
72 Cian McNamara (East Tennessee State).
73 Charles Ford (Tennessee) (from Leicester).
76 Tom Sherreard (Georgia State) (from Maidstone).
77 Chris Paisley (Tennessee) (from Newcastle).
78 Jordan Findlay (East Tennessee State).
81 Seamus Power (East Tennessee State).
