JACK HILUTA TO CAPTAIN ENGLAND IN
BOYS' HOME INTERNATIONALS

Jack Hiluta has been selected to captain England in the Boys Home Internationals at Machnynys Peninsula in Wales from August 7 to 9.
The 18-year-old from Essex recorded five wins from his six matches on his debut as a boy cap a year ago at Lossiemouth as Scotland ended England’s run of eight successive victories in the annual event.
Hiluta, from Chelmsford Golf Club, was naturally delighted. “It’s been one of my goals to captain England so I’m delighted to have been selected,” he said.
“My aim now is to lead the side in Wales and get back the trophy we lost last year.”
A former Under-16 international, Hiluta represented Essex in the English boys' county finals at Little Aston in 2005 and has been a member of the England under 18 squad for the past two years.
This year, he has represented the EGU in a quadrangular match in South Africa and in the Thunderbird Junior International in the United States as well as reaching the last 16 of the Spanish amateur championship. He was also a member of the England team that finished runners-up to Denmark in the European boys' team championship in Denmark earlier this month.
