DEESIDE PIP PETERHEAD FOR JUNIOR PENNANT

Deeside Golf Club won the Aberdeen & District Junior Pennant League championship final at McDonald Ellon Golf Club today for the first time since 1971.
They beat Peterhead on a countback after the teams drew 3-3.
Deeside's past captain Alan Rennie played in the 1971 winning team. His son Thomas was a member of today's winning Deeside line-up.
