Royal Aberdeen won the Ritson Smith Aberdeen Pennant League championship at East Aberdeenshire Golf Centre today.
The Balgownie men beat first-time finalists Portlethen 3 1/2-2 1/2 in the final.

E Laird, S Buchan bt P Morrison, K Tait 5 and 3.
B Barclay, D Macandrew halved with C Brechin, S Wallace.

L Middleton, M Wilson lost to S Cook, L Shand 2 and 1.
