CRAIG RONALD WINS AT MURRAYFIELD
WITH SEVEN UNDER PAR 63


Craig Ronald won the £1,200 top prize in today's Bell Lawrie/Murrayfield Golf Club pro-am with a fine round of seven-under-par 63.
The Carluke professional bogeyed the third hole and then rattled off eight birdies - at the fourth, fifth, sixth, 10th, 12th, 13th, 16th and 17th.
He won by three shots from Anthony Mackrell (Gary Mitchell Golf) and Jason McCreadie (Buchanan Castle).
Home club professional Kieon Stevenson, in the last group to finish, led the Mackay Hall Ltd trio of amateurs, David Marshall (4), Philip Harris (128) and Mark Fisher (9) to victory in the team event with an incredible net score of 17-under-par 53.
