MUIR OF ORD PLAYER WINS
ROYAL NAVY TROPHY AT
NORTH JUNIOR OPEN
Muir of Ord’s Greg Matheson, pictured right, with a net score of 68 off 18 of a handicap, won the Royal Navy Trophy at the North of Scotland Juinior Open at Loch Ness golf course, Inverness today.
Best scratch score of a day which began with rain and finished with strong breeze was a 78 by Christian MacLeod (Nairn Dunbar). That won him the Tulloch Homes Trophy. He was one of only two players to break 80.Lieutenant Commander Gary Farmer from the Royal Navy presented the prizes.
