MONKLAND MASTERS CHARITY PRO-AM WINNERS
Graham Rankin and Chris Doak each earned £1,046 for being joint winners of the Monklands Masters charity pro-am at Drumpellier Golf Club today (Sunday). They tied on four-under-par 67, one shot ahead of Steven Gray (Hayston).
Brian Mason (Drumoig) led the Lady Captain's amateur trio - Jean Henderson (handicap 26), who is the Drumpellier lady captain, Susan Wood (6) and Elizabeth Steel (25) - to victory in the team event with a net score of 15-under-par 56. The ladies' handicaps are all actually two shots less than the figures in brackets but they received two courtesy shots apiece, and obviously made the most of them!
