LOTHIANS GO FOUR CLEAR IN THE FOURSOMES
OF THE SGU BOYS’ AREA TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Lothians established a four-stroke lead from Glasgow and North after the morning foursomes rounds in the Scottish Golf Union boys’ area team championship at Forres Golf Club.
Scottish boys’ match-play champion Paul Ferrier (Baberton) and Myles Cunningham, winner of the Lothians’ boys’ title on Friday night, teamed up to return an excellent five-under-par 65. Team-mates Neil Henderson and Oliver Huish, son of the North Berwick professional, had a 72, which gave Lothians a morning total of 136 with the singles to be played in the afternoon.
