JAMIESON ONE SHOT OFF THE PACE
IN OKLAHOMA
Scott Jamieson shot a seven-under-par 65 to be one shot off the pace among the early finishers in the first round of the Buffalo Run Casino Classic, this week's event on the NGA Hooters Tour, at Peoria Ridge Golf Club, Miami in Oklahoma.
The Glasgow-born rookie pro - he quit the amateur ranks last November after topping the Scottish Golf Union Order of Merit - had birdies at the fifth, seventh, eighth, 12th, 15th, 16th and 17th in a bogey-free round.
He was one shot behind Brandon Aydlett from Baton Rouge, Louisana.
Other Scots Joel Hendry, David Kirkpatrick and Colin Speirs were among the later starters.
