GRAY WINS £858 PRIZE AT TORRANCE HOUSE PRO-AM
Hayston's Steven Gray won the top cash prize of £858 in the Torrance House Golf Club pro-am today (Friday) with a five-under-par round of 67. He had seven birdies - at the first, third, sixth, seventh, 12th, 13th and 17th - and bogeys at the eighth and 11th in winning by two shots from a group of five players.
Sam Cairns (Westerwood) lead the P R Interiors trio of amateurs, Craig McDonald (handicap 15), Steven Reid (6) and Robert McLintoch (13) to victory in the pro-am team event with a net scorfe of 16-under-par 56.
