ADAM SCOTT BLOWS UP AND FINISHES SEVENTH
AS BRIAN DAVIS COMES 2nd TO WINNER AUSTIN

Long-time leader Australian Adam Scott blew up in spectacular fashion to finish seventh in the Stanford St Jude Classic on the US PGA Tour.
Scott bogeyed the sixth but birdied the 11th, 12th and 13th before slumping to a triple-bogey 6 at the short 14th. He rallied with a birdie at the 15th but then dropped a shot at each of the last three holes.
Adam finished with a 75 for 276.
Victory went to American Woody Austin with a brilliant last round of 62 for 267.
Englishman Brian Davis was runner-up, five shots behind after a 66 for 272.
