MARTIN LAIRD SEVENTH ON US NATIONWIDE
TOUR MONEY TABLE AFTER JT 20 FINISH


Martin Laird from Glasgow, a former Scottish youths champion, is lying seventh in the US Nationwide Tour money table after a joint 20th finish in the latest event, the BMW Charity Pro-am over 72 holes at The Cliffs Golf Club, South Carolina,
Laird, averaging drives of 309yd, had rounds of 67, 72, 71 and 69 for a seven-under-par total of 279.
Winner of a Nationwide Tour event a few weeks ago, Laird has amassed $124,270 so far this season.
Australian Nick Flanagan birdied the last three holes on Sunday in completing rounds of 68, 72, 66 and 65 for 15-under-par 271. It was his second Nationwide Tour win in a row. If he wins a third this season, he will automatically qualify to step up to the main US Tour. Flanagan has won $229,077 this year.
Welshman Richard Johnson finished third on Sunday with scores of 66, 69, 68 and 70 for 273, two shots behind the winner.
