BROADHURST SHARES LEAD AGAIN
- AND ATTACKS GOLF WRITERS FOR
NOT GIVING HIM PUBLICITY

Ross Fisher and Paul Broadhurst both finished with a hat-trick of birdies to be joint leaders entering the final round of the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth tomorrow.
Broadhurst used his Press Conference to attack the assembled golf writers for not giving his first-round share of the lead any prominence in their stories.
Making reference to what he called "The Justin Rose Show", the 41-year-old Broadhurst had matched the 26-year-old's opening 66, but then struggled to find his name in a headline anywhere on Friday morning.
"I went to the papers on Friday hoping to read about myself and I didn't," said the former Ryder Cup player, who now has a chance to win the European Tour's flagship event five years after his career was hanging by a thread.
"I got a couple of lines and it annoyed me a little bit. The fact that I am now sharing the lead with Ross Fisher will be in the Sunday papers, won't it?"
Fisher is the same age as Rose and, although he does not yet have the same high profile, that will change if he is the one to lift the first prize of almost £480,000.
While joint halfway leader Rose fell back into fifth place with a 73, Fisher had a rollercoaster ride of a 69 on the very course where he learnt to play the game.
South African ace Ernie Els, who lives on the Wentworth estate, has revealed that he plans to react to criticism of one of the holes he has re-designed.
Els was hired by the Surrey club to toughen up the famous West Course, but no end of players have thought during this week's championship that he went too far by bringing in water on both sides of the drive down the long 12th.
Els himself eagled the hole today with a brilliant three-iron to three feet, but he commented: "I think I will move the left side (of the ditch) back into the rough."
He added: "What I wanted to do is challenge the guys, but I've seen some shots and had a lot of comments. The rest of the course is standing up very well, though."
Els also eagled the fourth, which he has stretched to 552 yards, and had three birdies - but his card showed two bogeys, a double-bogey and a triple-bogey as well.
The triple came on the 396-yard seventh, where he was bunkered in two and four-putted.
Els is on level par 216, the same mark as Colin Montgomerie who had a 70.
