ALEXANDRA BUSHBY WINS
P&K TITLE FOR FIRST TIME
WITH WIN OVER EMILY

Strathmore’s Alexandra Bushby, a former North of Scotland women’s title-winner, won the Perth & Kinross women’s county golf championship for the first time after a very good final at Kinross Golf Club today.
Miss Bushby, the No 4 qualifier, beat Emily Ogilby (Auchterarder), the second seed by two holes in a classic contest.
Both finalists had three birdies. Alexandra (pictured right) was two up at the turn but, after the 11th was halved in birdies, Emily got one hole back with a birdie at the 15th. Miss Bushby maintained her narrow lead to the last where she was conceded a birdie and the match.
Jillian Milne (Craigie Hill) was unable to defend the title she won last year because she is expecting a baby in two weeks.
